Another good week in this account, now showing a total portfolio value of £1316.25. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pullback in value soon, but -- for now -- let's not spoil the party!
In January 2010 Tony Loton established a demonstration spread betting account with a starting capital of just £1500; with the aim of growing this to a sizeable sum (or at least not losing much money) by the end of the year using a Position Trading strategy. This blog documents the performance of the account, including the trades made with associated commentary, over the course of the year to December 2010.

Eek, some brave bets there!
What do you use to track your portfolio, btw? I'm thinking of doing a demo trading portfolio with real money, but I can't decide how to track it.
Was thinking of using Stockopedia's fund service to do it for me!
With a good Stop Order policy, and good Position Sizing, none of these bets is really 'brave'. Believe it or not, mine is a low-risk strategy ;-)
